To whom it may concern:

After I underwent brain tumour reduction surgery in January 2009, the left side of my body was paralyzed resulting in an extended stay in the hospital (2+months). I also received some less pleasant news about the kind of tumour I had. Although I stayed in a very lively ward with lots of eccentric patients and very friendly staff, it was still boring in my room, as I was forced to think about my “new” future. These thoughts were not really contributing to a much needed positive attitude during these times. However the friendly people from Art à la Carte came and cheered my room up with some very nice art that I could pick myself, transforming my room into a much more positive atmosphere.

Thanks again,

You are all great people.
