Remembering Ole Tenold

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Ole Tenold on the morning of April 19, 2010. Throughout his brief association with Art à la Carte, Ole was a champion for the organization. He appreciated the value of art as a complement to healing along with the importance of human connection. We will miss his bold Nordic presence, the twinkle in his eye, and his utterly humane desire to give back to the community.

The family will be hosting a celebration of Ole's life on May 16, 2010. Details are included below in the obituary that appeared in The Calgary Herald. We invite all our supporters to express their condolences to Ole's wife, Suzanne, and sons Jonas and Hans. Our gratitude for their ongoing support during such a painful time is beyond measure.

TENOLD , Ole Andreas September 30, 1942 – April 19, 2010 "You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings" "Ole from Norway" passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday morning, April 19, 2010 at the young age of 67 years. Ole is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (nee Morrow), his sons, Jonas and Hans, his sister Torild (Audun) and her family in Sandnes, Norway and his mother and father-in-law, Bob and Jackie Morrow of Kingston, Ontario. A Memorial Gathering will be held on May 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Triwood Community Association Centre, 2244 Chicoutimi Drive N.W., Calgary.
