Information evening at Gibson Fine Art
On September 30th, Art à la Carte hosted a warm and welcoming evening at Gibson Fine Art. The purpose of the event was to provide an opportunity for guests to mingle with our board members and bedside volunteers in order to gain information about our programs. A private viewing of Fernie artist, Angela Morgan's "Living a la Mode" exhibition created the perfect ambiance within an intimate gallery setting.

Humanitarian Mike French, who is also a Senior Portfolio Manager with RBC Dominion Securities and District Governor Elect for Rotary International, spoke passionately about his ongoing involvement with our organization. His deep commitment to Art à la Carte inspired our guests to also become involved. Mike champions many local and global initiatives and we are indebted to him for his ongoing support.

The friend-raiser was the first of several fund development initiatives that will occur over the next year under the savvied leadership of Nicola Dawes who coordinated every detail of the evening. Those who attended will confirm that this woman truly knows how to throw a party! Be sure to watch for notices of our upcoming events.
Our gratitude is extended to Patti Dibski and her staff for providing such a stunning backdrop at Gibson Fine Art, Jeremy Raaymaker for hosting a wonderful wine tasting, Sarah Lund for her infectious spirit and photography, our board members and hospital volunteers for their invaluable participation and the many guests who came to learn about our organization. We hope that our new friends will be inspired to provide the resources and skills required to sustain Art à la Carte well into the future.
