Art and Experience 2011

The bells were definitely ringing at the BELFRY last month when Art and Experience put its mark on the creative event scene. Nearly 180 friends and supporters raised more than $11,000 for program delivery and support at a night filled with food, wine, artistry, friendship and song.

Things were looking mighty grim when our original venue closed its doors ten days prior to the event. But somehow when one door closed, a giant picture window by the name of The BELFRY Gastro House opened. Owners Greg and Samantha Taylor literally saved the night in the 11th hour, accommodating our every need with overwhelming generosity. Talk about charitable. Wow!

To the many volunteers, committee and board members, auction and raffle donors, musicians, artists, auctioneers, sponsors and guests who provided countless resources – a debt of gratitude. Thank you especially to our lead sponsor, The Globe and Mail, emcee Adrian Urlacher, and event coordinator extraordinaire, Therese Rajotte. You came. You saw. You rocked!
