Winnie Ho
Researcher, Winnie Ho chose to donate a piece of her own artwork to the busy hallways she travels on a daily basis. Meanwhile, her son, Kevin, became one of the program's most dedicated volunteers while studying science as an undergraduate.

Take it to the Limit (Image by Winnie Ho)

Winnie Ho was born in Hong Kong and studied fine arts at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta. Now a medical researcher at the University of Calgary, she has always been interested in art. Winnie combines a variety of mediums to convey her emotions. These include silk screening, silk painting, acrylic and oil, Chinese watercolour, pastel, and even clay. She believes that art is an endless learning process and her channel for liberating the soul.
