A community-minded senior gives back.

Terry Weiss was born in southern Saskatchewan. After marrying Bill and raising four children, she took oil painting lessons from Hans Herold in Saskatoon and Robert Harrison in Regina. She painted as a hobby until moving to Calgary in 1972. Her work in an art and framing shop kept art in the forefront. After retiring, she taught oil painting to senior for three years, and joined the Brushstrokes Club of which she is a coordinator. Terry was accepted tot he Calgary Sketch Club in 1992 and has been showing with the club ever since. In 1996 she received the club's BEST OF SHOW Award.
