Photographer Shirley Hartig is a resident of High River, Alberta, where she raises, trains and shows Quarter horses and Quarter ponies with her two children. She has always loved the art of photography but has only pursued this passion for the past ten years. Shirley especially enjoys capturing the remaining traces of pioneer hardships, hopes and dreams as evidenced in her Footprints Gallery showcase.
