Jane Matthews Read moved to Canada from London, England in 2002. Inspired by the natural splendour of her new surroundings, Jane chose to leave her career in the design world to pursue a life-long dream to become an artist.

Jane's art reflects her passion for Canmore's mountain landscape. "Loo with a View" was painted on a family excursion to Quarry Lake. "Peace by the Lake" combines serenity with her distinctive presentation of trees and "Happy go Poppy" is a glowing reflection of Jane's joyful heart.
